PROS: This camera is an incredible buy for the price. The photos produced are very high quality. I first thought that the 6.2 megapixels would be more than I would need. However I am very satisfied with being able to produce 8 1/2 X 11 Photos that are in my opinion better than 35 mm. The rechargeable lithium battery is one of the features that influenced me I have found that it has plenty of strength to last between charging. Plus the manageable size which fits in my pocket. The help menu is easy to use and will assist with most functions for a novice to digital cameras such as my self.
CONS: Cons. The first thing I noticed was that it takes much longer to take multiple pictures than I would like. The wide angle field of view is limited if you want to take photos of large objects. A tripod is necessary to take panoramic pictures. The software that processes the photos is not very user friendly to import to other folders in my computer. This is in my opinion the biggest downfall. I am disappointed that it doesn’t work better with my HP manufactured computer.
OVERALL SCORE:9/10
PROS: Nice size, great resolution potential, flexible power system, good controls
CONS: Incredibly poor lens which completely negates high resolution CCD, clearly the place where HP saved money to bring in the great price point.
PROS: Lots of features and easy to use
CONS: A lot of things to learn about the camera
PROS: resoloution, cost, ease of use, style, battery life
CONS: expensive memory chips.......
PROS: Many easy features to use and built in settings.
CONS: Not discovered real problems, maybe software that seems to take over the way you access your photos on our computer.
PROS: easy to use, excellent images, extraordinar usefull software and function of the camera. REALLY BEST ONE!
CONS: Could be more fast during image processing, in dark and too cloudy days days need flash despite auto mode
PROS: Easy to hold and well thought out features for the user interface. Adaptive lighting modes work well. Clever short cuts (not documented for the most part) make it easy to use. Nice bright screen. Can use disposable battery in a pinch. Very good digital zoom and interface for it. Panorama mode is simple to use and works very well.
CONS: Slow in nearly every aspect. 4+ seconds to first picture. Take 3 pictures and the camera is busy for 10+ seconds. Adaptive lighting modes take even longer. No 3:2 aspect mode (for perfect 4x6 prints without cropping). No way to set compression and size independently. Less built in modes that others in it's class. Can't play back without extending lens. Off center tripod mount will frustrate in panorama mode(you are not rotating around the center of the picture). Very good software (instant share features).
