  Fast, sharp, lasts forever

PROS: I looked for a digicam that would be fast (since my children are my primary subject and they move a lot), take good pictures in low light (since I live in a northern area with not much daylight) and run on AA batteries. Came up with this cam and am still amazed. It is super fast, has an outstanding burst mode, runs on the two batteries forever (even with its pretty strong flash), and the pics are really good. Also, the essential manual controls are there. Size is good too, fits well in hand but can still be stuffed in the pocket.

CONS: Only minor things. Continuous focusing during video mode, ending up with disproportionate portions of the movie being blurred. Red eye reduction could be more efficient.

PROS: Great battery life....non proprietory AA batteries...large display and a view finder which is omitted on some cameras with larger displays...size and shape of camera body seem just right

CONS: Getting red eye on some flash photos even with red eye reduction feature turned on

  Best in its class!

PROS: Manual controls, excellent video, huge LCD, good photos.

CONS: MS is expensive, could use more manual controls.
