PROS: A lot of camera in a compact format that is still easy to handle and fumble-free. Excellent ease-of-use for snapshots, and I like the fact that it has a traditional optical viewfinder in addition to the LCD screen. Good documentation and a fairly straightforward onscreen menu/configuration settings user interface. Uses ordinary AA batteries, so a set of four NiMH rechargeables is recommended, as is a belt case to carry the camera and spare media and batteries. Surprisingly good stutter-free MPEG-1 video (640x480). 4-frame burst mode for action shorts helps you overcome the unpredictability of digital camera lag times. CONS: The LCD is small and can become cluttered with confusing information icons once you delve into the camera's additional features. Requires a large-capacity high-speed memory stick to get the better MPEG-XV video resolution, and to take more than a few short video clips. Sony's proprietary memory stick is less compatible than the ubiquitous SD cards A TV-video out feature would be handy for reviewing images on the big screen.

  Great for the price!

PROS: Love the compact size/weight. Took it on vacation and it served me well! This is my first digital camera and I found it easy to use. Took a couple of video clips too! It's great that you can do both with such a small camera.

CONS: none that I can think of except I had to spend an add'l $45 for a 256mb memory stick.

  best buy small lightweight camera

PROS: excellent camera for the price. Very fast, very good images. Fits nicely to the belt and is very lightweight so you won´t notice it at all. All you need really .

CONS: if you want better camera you can get it but not many so small and light. Would be nice to have a larger display. Also needs rechargable batteries.
