TOTAL USER RATINGS: 31
PROS: Simple, Simple, Simple... Reliable, compact, and takes really good max res shots.
CONS: Battery life is critical, unless you keep a spare on the charger, when it's exhausted, you're done taking pictures.
PROS: if you get the shot right, you're psyched--great quality
CONS: you may have to take 5 shots to get a decent one of whatever you're shooting
PROS: Easy to use
CONS: software is not to great
PROS: Optical zoom, ease of use, no tripod required
CONS: Sport mode could use a faster shutter speed, can't change that manually
PROS: Good value and lots of extras
CONS: Larger size not shirt pocket size
PROS: Lots of easy to use features, rechargable battery
CONS: A little bulky
PROS: The 8.3x optical zoom is contained very nicely within the camera body, allowing the camera to still be compact without looking or feeling overly awkward to handle or look at. Its 0.4" super macro feature appears to be better than the 5400, too.
CONS: The "lower end" of the coolpix line of cameras still doesn't enable for many manual changes to the ISO or aperture. But this is still a great point-and-shoot camera.
PROS: Awesome zoom...high quality and ease of operation but more than enough features to play. This one has hit the mark in versatility and quality...and is very reasonably for the features. Great, clear, sharp pictures.
CONS: I'm still looking. Nothing so far.
PROS: Very easy to use and especially like all the preprogrammed features.
CONS: Lacks clarity and focus is not satisfactory for detail. Nikon is working with me to rectify.
PROS: I purchased this camera for it's closeup capabilities and moderate price. I'm new to digital photography but this camera does not disappoint.
CONS: I wish the battery could be substituted by AA rechargeables..backup battery is over $30
