PROS: The small convenient size of this camera is its greatest asset.
CONS: I am hard pressed to come up with a con for this camera. The fact that I've only had it a week may have some bearing on that; I don't know.
PROS: Excellent for a small package
CONS: none whatsoever!!
CONS: Screen scratches easily. Videos in 640x480, don“t last all the minutes that are available
OVERALL SCORE:7/10
PROS: stylish, compact, VERY user-friendly, well made
CONS: not the greatest quality
PROS: Great pictures, great recovery time from shot to shot.
CONS: Lacks extra features that most other cameras have.
PROS: Super small, super speedy (all operations - startup, focus, flash, review, write to SD, shutdown...). Excelent photo quality: sharpness, contrast, colors. Good video mode.
CONS: No manual aperture control (basically i will need this only for macro...)
PROS: Small, lightweight and a big LCD display. Carry it in your pocket and you'll never miss a shot.
CONS: LCD cracks spontaneously. Canon charges $165 to repair. Best to keep it home in the box.
PROS: Camera is awesome. I looked thru many other cameras such as Sony Cybershot p-73, Sony Cybershot p-93,p-100, cannon powershot a-75, a-85, and a-95, and from all of those i believe that Sd200 was the best choice for the money. Has awesome features, it turns on super fast, has real nice picture quaility and is tiny. Its movie mode is awesome, with nice quality not expected in a digital camera especially as small as this one. For the price i think it is the best choice out there.
CONS: Would be nice to have a little rubber on sides because of its compact size your constantly afriad that you are going to drop it. Wrapping it around your wrist doesn't satisfy you. Seems as though battery life is to short, but i may be wrong. Never really paid to much attention to it, it just died out at wrong times.
PROS: HUGE LCD. Takes great pictures and video with sound. Compared this to all other cameras in its class and it won hands down. I normally use a Canon Rebel 35mm and this one takes shots that are as good as film. Battery life is good for the size of the screen.
CONS: Needs a batttery meter, carrying case, and better software but you can get ALL OF THOSE.
PROS: i like everything. this is my first camera and i have had it for over a month. the video quality is past expectations and gets over 4 minutes with 512MB card. can take 2-3 days worth pics w/ full battery. so light you have to use wrist strap. i've gotten it muddy on mountain bike trail but worked perfect. i also played with someone's A75, but liked mine better.
CONS: too small and portable if that's bad. not to me. no 10x zoom but that's not what it's made for. perfect if you want to take pics and vid for email and print 4x6 or 5x7.
