PROS: - IS - 10x zoom - LCD with more pixels - tripod mount narrow to the lens axis - pop-up flash - good balance between CCD size and his resolution resulting little noise in low light conditions - dedicated buttons - DIGIC processor - work with both type I and II of CF - price!
CONS: - plastic body - no hot-shoe - no AF assist lamp
PROS: Zoom, battery life is amazing, lots of room to grow due to numerous features
CONS: Price, wish the LCD was just a bit larger
PROS: 10X lens Image Stabilization device really works Good style/design
CONS: Eats batteries. Included ARC Soft Software seems weak. Ineffective lens cap.
PROS: Versatility, lots of great features, relatively easy to use--even to a digital camera beginner. Image stabilizer is very useful.
CONS: Price. Needs more power efficiency (uses batteries too quickly). Hard to hold with the LCD out.
PROS: Excellent camera, feature rich.. new ultrasonic motor, 10x zoom, stabiliser... Suitable for beginners and professionals
CONS: 3.2 megapixels... should at least be 4, then it would be perfect.
PROS: When i tryed i love it! If you tryed to take 10x without tripod you know that it will be bllury. No more with IS! I love this camera..
CONS: It will be the perfect one if outfited wit 4MP or 5MP CCD but still the best for features ofered.
PROS: Zoom, movie features
CONS: hard to hold initially, i don't find the screen size an issue
PROS: If you don't want to shell out over $1K for a SLR camera and you will just print 5 X 7 or 4 X 6 prints, this camera is for you. It has many "mini" features of a SLR with its manual controls. 10X zoom is just a joy to use. Using NiMH batteries sure beats those little proprietary batteries in those compact point and shoots. Plus, you can't beat the sharp photo quality of a Canon!
CONS: My only beef- the chance that your lens cap will get lost, consequently smudges on the lens. But it has a strap so you just tie it to the camera.
PROS: Between the 10x Zoom, Image Stabilization, and image quailty, you photos will look great! Lots of Features. Easy to configure. Intuitive. That zoom lens is awesome. Battery-Life - Great- 400mb on NiMH Rechargables. IMAGE STABILIZATION! No more scratches on your LCD! Diopter (for those of us with poor vision). Essentially, this camera will help you shoot really great photos.
CONS: Takes a while to auto-focus in low light condition.
PROS: Image stabilization is a near miracle! Zoom motor is VERY fast. Images are near perfect. Camera nearly foolproof to take great shots.
CONS: Writing to memory not the fastest with a regular CF card.
