  Excellent Value for low end Pro use

PROS: Intuitive controls, clean lines, vertical grip available, mirror lock up capability, follow focus feature, I could go on and on about this camera.

CONS: not 100% viewfinder but since these are digitals and I can crop it doesn't make too much difference. Mirror noise is LOUD. I also have been using mirror lock up and the remote to subdue vibratios at slwoer shutter speeds. I dislike the "S" series lenses. As a working pro who had a load of FD lenses and F-1's I hated selling them for pennies on the dollar then getting all new "L" lenses in EOS mount for the new cameras. I will not buy any "S" lenses and be trapped again. Instead I bought the Tamron 12-18 ultra wide in place of the Canon 10-22S lens. I also have a 10D body and the "S" lenses will not work on it.

  Great Camera

PROS: Great Speed and Picture Quality

CONS: Pictures could be sharper

  Good but not thrilling

PROS: Very good color response, fast shooting, high resolution.

CONS: Image sharpness not as good as you would expect, no flash control in auto mode. I have seen sharper images coming from 5MP point and shoot cameras than the ones 20D makes with an EFS17-85 dedicated lens and that eats me up, but the color reading is very good.

  Great Value - Canon beats Nikon again

PROS: Pixel resolution, instant boot up time, 5fps, it all makes it a must upgrade from Rebel. I would be more cautious if I was a 10D owner, it might not be worth it.

CONS: Only one - loud mirror, louder than D300

  Successor to 10D - what's not to like?

PROS: Worthy successor to the Canon 10D (and in all fairness, the Digital Rebel) - with 30% more pixels.

CONS: Too bad you'll have to sell all your old Nikon lenses on ebay ;-)
