  High quality images on an ultra-compact

PROS: Excellent images for an ultra-compact, large array of scene settings to choose from, a playback button (which allows for switching to camera mode by just pressing the shutter), generous LCD screen size, wide angle lense, large buttons and easy to handle, and click scroll wheel (which is a navigation function filtered down from Canon's DSLR camera).

CONS: Zoom is rather disappointing for the price, face detection isn't always accurate, plastic used in 50% of the body, too slippery to hand with confidence without a wrist-wrap, lack of manual controls, noisy pictures at high ISO, movie recording (though longer now) is still limited to 5:4 aspect ratio and VGA quality, a little slow to attain AF.
