Adobe has announced updates to its subscription-based Creative Cloud service, with additional features to each program as well as 3D printing support for Adobe Photoshop CC.
Photoshop CC users can now design and print 3D designs without sacrificing the familiarity of the Photoshop platform. With the new Perspective Warp feature, users can alter the viewpoint of images without distorting the original object. Adobe also added Linked Smart Objects, which allows users to update and apply edits to images within multiple Photoshop files at once.
InDesign CC and Illustrator CC now feature more compatibility with Adobe Typekit, which syncs users' fonts with other desktop programs. Now, InDesign CC and Illustrator CC will automatically detect Typekit fonts and any similar fonts, making it easy to incorporate them into multiple files.
Illustrator CC now features Live Corners for designing easy to design rounded corners, an updated Pencil Tool, and improved Path Segment Reshape functionality. Indesign CC also boasts EPUB 3.0 compatibility, easier hyperlink creation, and added features for interactive eBook designs.
Adobe Muse now includes a Library panel, where users can access their most used design elements and then share them with other users via Adobe Muse Exchange.
Creative Cloud is available for $49.99 a month, with a 30 day free trial for new users.
