The Panasonic Lumix GX7 is a single lens mirrorless camera with a 16 MP Digital Live CMOS sensor. This sensor promises to record high resolution/high sensitivity images with minimum noise due to Semiconductor Fine Technology. Color saturation is promised to be 10% better and an on-chip lens gives the user 10% higher sensitivity. It offeres in-body image stabilization and a ingenious little LVF that is 90 degree tiltable--reminiscent of Hasselblad days. If the LVF works well, it will be such a great feature for this camera. The company states that it has 2764k dots of resolution and 100% color reproduction. In addition to the LVF it also has a 3-inch rear tilting touchscreen LCD with 1.4million dots of resolution. ISO sensitivities range from 200-25600. Shutter speeds are 60-1/8000 second. (Yes that's correct!)
You can pre-order the body only for $999 or with the Lumix G Vario 14-42mm lens for $1099.
