The Samsung NX300 enters the market as a strong competitor in the mirrorless genre. The NX300 features a 20.3-megapixel image APS-C CMOS sensor with an ISO range of 100-25,600. The new hybrid auto focus system is proving to deliver fast, reliable autofocus. The camera offers 8.6 frames per second continuous shooting. Samsung is using their DRIMe IV imaging engine which is designed to produce pictures with better color reproduction and greater noise reduction.
Overall we are pleased with the results. The NX300 is a well built camera with very good image quality. We did notice highlight clipping especially in the third image. The first two images were taken in a low light environment with no flash. Color quality was very good and noise was minimal. We used a variety of lenses including the 50-200mm, the 45mm 2D/3D and the 18-55mm Samsung lenses. Check out these sample images and let us know what you see!
