The Coolpix P330
Think small. The Coolpix P330 is small, compact and east to carry. It has 5x lens (24-120mm equivalent). The P330 has a 1/1.7-inch, 12.2-megapixel backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor that promises less noise in low light situations. The camera offers a fast f/1.8 aperture when the lens is retracted, but soars to f/5.6 when the zoom is fully engaged. The lens includes Nikon's VR image stabilization to help reduce the effects of camera shake. Allowing users the ability to fully control the camera, the P330 includes a shooting mode dial on the top of the camera. Manual controls on this dial include P,S,A,M, as well as scene, auto and a user defined option. The P330 has the ability to capture RAW and JPG images. A multitude of scene modes and in-camera editing is also available with this camera.
The P330 comes equipped with built-in GPS capabilities and Wi-Fi is accessible through the WU-1a wireless mobile adaptor. Full HD video with stereo sound is available via a dedicated video record button located on the back of the camera.
The COOLPIX P330 will also be available in March for $379.95. It will be offered in Black and White.
Think smaller. The Coolpix S3500 has a slim, compact design, equipped with a 20.1-megapixel 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor. It sports a 7x optical zoom 4.7-32.9mm (26-182 equivalent) lens. The lens is equipped with Nikon's VR technology that helps to reduce image blur.
The S3500 offers users a variety of in-camera image editing functions and 20 scene modes. Glamour Retouch and Quick Effects enable the immediate retouching of images. Users can quickly and easily adjust the exposure on faces or soften skin. Focusing is also a breeze with subject tracking which automatically locks onto a moving subject.
The COOLPIX S3500 will be available in March for $139.95 and will be available in five colors: Silver, Red, Purple,
