Sony Unveils Cyber-shot W710 Digital Camera

Today Sony debuts an affordable Point and Shoot camera for everyday shooting, the W710. The new W710 camera features a 16.1 MP Super HAD CCD sensor with a 5x optical Sony zoom lens (28-140mm equivalent). It has large physical controls for straight forward shooting. It can shoot 720p HD video with Optical SteadyShot.

The camera has panorama mode, advanced flash performance and a new Beauty Effect palate that offers users a post-shooting editing feature.

The W710 should be available in January for about $99. It will be available in silver, pink and black.
