Today Sony announces the Cyber-shot H200, a DSLR-style, long-zoom camera at affordable price. The new Cyber-shot H200 camera features DSLR-like styling and grip design modeled after Sony's popular range of alpha interchangeable lens cameras.
The H200 features a huge 26x zoom lens - the equivalent of 22-580mm lens in a 35mm camera. It has a 20.1 MP Super HAD CCD sensor. HD movie (720p) capability with Optical SteadyShot. The camera has an updated flash. A new beauty effect palate offers users a variety of post-shooting editing options. Panorama mode is also available.
The camera is powered by 4 AA batteries, eliminating the need to charge and re-charge the camera during travel.
The H200 is scheduled to be available in January for about $249.
