Like all of Samsung's recent point-and-shoot offerings, the EX2F is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity for wireless photo sharing. Unlike other Samsung point-and-shoots already on the market, this one has a fast f/1.4 lens. Boasting a 24mm wide angle, the lens is comprised of several aspherical and high refractive glass elements. Samsung claims the lens design provides 20% more light to the sensor than previous models.
At the EX2F's core is a 12.4 megapixel 1/1.7-inch BSI CMOS sensor. It offers full 1080 HD video capture and optical image stabilization. Manual exposure modes and RAW image capture are available to the nit-picky shooter, and a full array of "art filter" type processing modes are included. On the hardware side, it's equipped with a 3.0-inch swiveling AMOLED. The EX2F features a tough magnesium body and will accept SD, SDHC and SDXC memory media.
