The Polaroid Z2300 has an integrated photo printer, using proprietary ZINK technology to creat prints on the fly. On the photo side, the camera has a 10 megapixel sensor, a 3.0-inch LCD and a fixed focal length lens. It is SD card compatible for those who would rather save pictures and print them later the old-fashioned way.
Polaroid's ZINK technology produces 2x3 prints without using traditional ink. It uses heat to transform ink crystals embedded in photo paper to render color prints. Users will also have the option to print photos with a familiar white border. The Z2300 will cost $159.99, and 50-sheet packs of compatible photo paper will sell for $24.99. The camera is available for pre-order now through Polaroid.
