Samsung makes seven new models of SD and MicroSD cards available with sleek aesthetics and read speeds of up to 24MB/second. This should translate to about 42 seconds to transfer 1GB of image data. They're tough, too. Each card is water, magnet and crush resistant. The new cards should survive for up to 24 hours when submerged in water and should be able to withstand exposure to powerful magnets.
SD and MicroSD cards will be available with storage capacities of 32, 16, 8, 4 and 2GB. Plus Extreme Speed cards will be available in 8 and 16GB form with write speeds of up to 24MB/s. Check Samsung's website for more information.
