Olympus Launches M.Zuiko 12-50mm Micro Four Thirds Power Zoom Lens

The new M.Zuiko 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 is the first zoom lens introduced for the Micro Four Thirds system with an electronic motor. Covering a range equivalent to 24-100mm, the new Zuiko lens offers a minimum focusing distance of 8 inches in a special Macro mode.

Part of the MSC (Movie and Still Compatible) series of Micro Four Thirds lenses, the Zuiko 12-50mm promises quiet auto focus performance for still image and - especially important - video capture. Manual zooming is also available in addition to electronic zooming.

Pricing and Availability
The M.Zuiko DIGITAL ED 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ will be available in mid-January 2012 for $499.99.
