It's here. The shopping season we dread year-round. The crowded malls, the parking lot traffic jams, the last-minute present panic. Before you subject yourself to the perils of brick-and-mortar stores, check out our list of the cameras that got the most views this past month. Many of these cameras got a boost from online sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and the e-tailers continue to offer discounts throughout the season. See what was popular last month, check out the reviews and you might be able to save yourself a retail-triggered headache.

That persistent little Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS took the top prize again this month, interrupted only for a moment last month by the buzz-worthy Nikon 1 J1. By and large, the cameras in the top ten would all make ideal gifts for first-time camera users, so it's no surprise that they were popular with DCR readers last month.
