The Panasonic Lumix FX90 will provide 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity along with a 12.1 megapixel sensor. It's a typical-looking Lumix point-and-shoot with a 3.0-inch 460k-dot touch screen and 1080 HD 60i video recording.

What sets it apart is its ability to connect wirelessly to a new Lumix Club cloud-based service. Users will be able to upload photos to the cloud, where they can be accessed on the web or by a smartphone equipped with a free Lumix Link application. iPhone and Android OS users alike will be able to download the app. From there, files can be sent to Facebook, Flickr, Picasa or YouTube. You'll be required to enter your login and password information for these sites just once; the app will store your data for quick access later.

The FX90 offers all of the trappings of a typical Lumix comact, including O.I.S. optical image stabilization, A Venus Engine processor and touch functionality such as touch AF and touch shutter.
Pricing and availability
True to form, no pricing information is available now for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX90. An announcement with pricing will be released 30 days before the FX90 hits stores.
