Canon Provides Update for EF Lens Availability

Canon USA has provided an update regarding the availability of five EF lenses. Several of these lenses were launched in late August of last year to much customer anticipation. Canon's announcement today reveals that several lenses are not projected to be available until December 2011.

The following lenses will be available at these projected dates:

Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM late July 2011, $1399
Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM late August 2011, $6599
Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM late August 2011, $10,499
Canon EF 500mm F4L IS II USM December 2011, $9499
Canon EF 600mm F4L IS II USM December 2011, $11,999
