Lensbaby has announced a new selective-focus Sweet 35mm Optic with a 12-blade adjustable aperture. The optic is part of Lensbaby's Optic Swap system, so it's compatible with currently available Scout, Composer, Muse and Control Freak lenses. By rotating a dial on the front of the optic, users will be able to adjust aperture from f/2.5 to f/22. Previous optics have used a magnetic disk system.
The 35mm optic will be Lensbaby's widest yet and will focus as close as 3.0-inches when used with a Muse lens (or 7.5-inches with a Composer). This optic is not compatible with the Tilt Transformer for Micro Four Thirds cameras.
