Fujifilm FinePix X100 Will Officially Ship in March

Fujifilm officially launches the FinePix X100 in North America and confirms that it will ship to consumers in March.

The Fuji X100 is the well-publicized fixed-lens digital camera we were first introduced to at Photokina last year. With its retro rangefinder good looks, the X100 is equipped with a 12.3 APS-C CMOS sensor and a fixed focal length 23mm f/2 lens. We had another hands-on opportunity with it this year at CES, taking a closer look at the camera's manual control dials.

In case you've missed it, here's what else we can expect the X100 to have:

A 2.8-inch 460k-dot LCD
Native ISO range of 200-6400 expandable to 100-12800
9-blade aperture diaphragm
Built-in ND filter
A 49-point auto EVF focus area or a 25-point OVF auto focus area
720p HD video recording and built-in HDMI Mini connector
A Motion Panorama mode for capturing 180 or 120 degree panoramic shots
AE, ISO, Dynamic Range and Film Simulation bracketing modes (3 images captured)

Pricing and availability
