A new firmware has been made available for the Pentax K-5 DSLR, boasting improvements to burst mode shooting. Prior to the firmware upgrade, K-5 users will get about 8 frames in burst mode when shooting RAW at high ISOs. With the new version, the camera should capture around 20 frames before the buffer. Firmware v. 1.01 also makes an improvement to overall camera stability and performance.
