Casio may be launching a new Hybrid GPS camera today, but it's not losing sight of its mainstay entry-level point-and-shoot cameras. Announced alongside the H20G is the Casio Exilim EX-Z16. It's a slim, 12 megapixel shooter with a 3x optical zoom lens.
The Z16 offers a 2.7-inch LCD, YouTube video recording mode at 640x480, and 23 individual scene modes. In Easy Mode, the camera will handle nearly every shooting setting for the user. The Z16 will accept SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards. This entry-level point-and-shoot features sensor-shift image stabilization and a f/2.9-5.6 lens covering a range equivalent to 35.5-106.5mm.
