Kodak EasyShare M590 slims down with 5x zoom

Kodak announces the EasyShare M590 today, calling it the thinnest camera to date with a 5x optical zoom.

The EasyShare M590 will also offer a 2.7-inch LCD, HD video recording and the namesake Share button for simple uploading to photo and video sharing websites. Face recognition and Smart Capture features are also on board.

The M590 will be powered by rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It will accept Micro SD/SDHC memory cards.

Pricing and availability
The Kodak EasyShare M590 will be available in the fall with a price tag of $199.95.
