*Update: Canon withdrew firmware version 2.0.3 shortly when a problem was discovered. Canon quickly addressed the issue and has offered version 2.0.4 to the public.
Canon has made the EOS 5D Mark II firmware update 2.0.3 available to the public. Announced at the beginning of March, this update offers 5D Mark II users the ability to shoot 1080p HD video at 24p. The new firmware will also allow for use of shutter priority and aperture priority modes while shooting movies.
