Ready to accessorize? We took a look at the latest offerings from a couple of bag manufacturers at the PhotoPlus Expo. Whether you're looking to keep that shiny new PowerShot G11 looking fresh or you're on the hunt for a bag that will accommodate a laptop and your DSLR, there's a bag out there for you.
Lowepro offers a solid lineup of pro-grade rugged bags that can accomodate a laptop computer as well as a variety of camera bodies and lenses. The Pro Trekker backpack is ready to hit the hiking trail and is available in three different sizes.
I was impressed by the build quality and the versatility of their products, and I know our friends at NotebookReview.com are big fans of the combo laptop/camera bags. Lowepro had a massive array of bags on display at PPE, and we've got a few of the more interesting samples lined up for review in the near future, so stay tuned.
M-Rock, fronted by founder Michael Rockwell, features a line of smaller digital camera bags that don't skimp on higher-end features.
The bags we saw on display are designed to fit a larger compact camera. They're mini versions of the larger DSLR bags also offered here, complete with exterior zippered pouches and an included lens cloth.
M-Rock also focuses attention on designing for different fashion sensibilities. You'll be able to pick up a black bag with two-tone purple accents as well as several other color combinations at their website. Compact camera bags start around $30.
Good camera bags are easy to find, so whether your next shooting opportunity is a hike or a family gathering, it's not hard to stay organized and stylish.
