According to a post on PhotographyBlog.com today, Nikon has released the latest version of its Capture NX raw conversion software, Nikon Capture NX 2.1.1.

Capture NX updates are usually a small blip on the radar, but in this case the launch provides a conversion utility for raw images from Nikon's new $8000 pro cam, the obscenely high-res D3X. Seems like a safe bet that sample raw images shot with final firmware versions of the D3X that seem to be floating around out there should start cropping up on the web soon.
We'll keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, if you're a Capture NX user, the PhotographyBlog article has links to the appropriate platform-specific downloads from Nikon's European support site (as of this writing, no updates had been posted to Nikon's U.S. site).
