Western Digital has announced a new line of external hard drive enclosures providing high-capacity file storage up to 4TB and network connectivity for multi-computer, cross-platform file sharing.

Targeting the device to home, small office, and creative services customers, Western Digital's new 2 TB and 4 TB ShareSpace housings come stocked with either two or four 1 TB WD GreenPower drives.
The device features a Gigabit Ethernet interface, a pair of USB ports for adding more drives if needed, and a front-mounted USB that allows files to be transferred directly to or from the ShareSpace without utilizing a network connection.
We've had the 4 TB ShareSpace in the office for a few weeks and have posted an in-depth review.
