On Friday, Epson released their latest budget friendly photo scanner: the Perfection V300. The main attraction for this affordable scanner is the 4800 x 9600 dpi maximum hardware resolution with 48-bit color scanning and 3.2 dynamic range.

But the Epson Perfection V300 photo scanner also features one-touch scanning, energy-efficient ReadyScan LED technology, and four scan modes giving the user plenty of options. Epson added an 180 degree lid for scanning oversized and 3D objects and a built-in transparency unit for scanning slides and negatives.
Epson did not include the date the V300 will be available for purchase but you can sign up for notifications on their website, www.epson.com. The V300 will be sold for $99.99.
