That's right: we've finally taken the head-first plunge into the world of online photo sharing.
If you're interested to see what the staff of DigitalCameraReview.com have been up to between reviews, you can now check out our latest photo uploads to popular image hosting site Flickr.com under the username DigitalCameraReview.
Once you're there, you'll find the best shots from our latest reviews (as well as additional images from cameras we've been testing that didn't make it into the full article), periodically updated galleries from reviews that are in process, and weekly additions to our "Et Cetera" collection of favorite shots by the DCR review staff.
To lead things off today, we've posted a few more choice shots* from the forthcoming Panasonic Lumix LX3 – in addition to the images used in our First Thoughts piece – to keep you salivating for this exciting new compact cam until we can get our full review wrapped. Check out the new additions (including a couple of tests to see how well the LX3's images stood up to heavy post-processing) in our Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 photo set.
It will take a few weeks for us to get our uploads into full swing, so check back on Flickr periodically or visit the Quick News area of the DCR homepage for the latest updates on what's been added to our online gallery. Likewise, if you're a Flickr user (and we know many of our regular readers are) feel free to drop us a line or comment on our uploads over there as well.
We're hoping that posting shots to Flickr will provide an easy way for us to share more of the photos we take in testing the latest digicams. As always, we're glad to hear your feedback on our new Flickr presence (or anything else) via our forums.
* EDITOR'S NOTE: Please be aware that the shots from our LX3 First Thoughts piece and additional sample images from our site on Flickr are from a pre-production LX3 and do not necessarily represent production-version image quality.
