Photo sharing site Flickr has simplified adding geographic information to uploaded images, according to information published on PhotographyBay.com.
An "Add to your map" option in the Additional Information section takes users to an interactive map where image locations can be marked.
The folks at PhotographyBay also note that Flickr is apparently receptive to feedback on the accuracy of maps (which come from Flickr parent company Yahoo!'s Yahoo! Maps service) used for the geotagging function. According to a note on Flickr, "Over time if everyone continuously tells us we've got somewhere wrong, we can feed it back into the system and update it for everyone else."
