If you've been eagerly awaiting your chance to get one of Nikon's revised (and still fairly novel several generations on) Wi-Fi enabled Coolpix cameras, the green flag came down on Friday with an announcement from Nikon that the new model has been delivered to retailers.

The highly anticipated 9 megapixel Nikon Coolpix S52c ultracompact, which allows shooters to transfer images across wireless networks directly to photo sharing sites or printing services, officially went on sale on Friday at retailers nationwide, with an MSRP around $280. (A version sans Wi-Fi, the Coolpix S52, can be had for $250.)
