Fujifilm drops FinePix Z100fd's MSRP

Getting into Fuji's latest high-style ultracompact, the Fujifilm FinePix Z100fd, just got a little easier: Fuji announced this week that it's lowering the Z100fd's MSRP to a very budget friendly $199.95.

The price drop, which went into effect last week, should have a slight impact on street prices for the popular ultracompact, which currently hovers around the $175 mark.

A perennial favorite around here (we liked the Z100fd enough to give it a spot on our most recent Buyer's Guide), the ultra-stylish 8 megapixel cam features a 5x zoom, a user-friendly interface, and lots of flashy touches. With even lower prices on the way, expect interest in the solid-performing Z100fd to stay as strong as ever.
