Most Popular Digital Cameras of March 2008

No, it's not an April Fools prank: after half a year on the top of our Most Popular Digital Cameras list, the Sony Cyber-shot T200 hasn't just been dethroned – it's been completely removed from the top 10 altogether. With cameras from PMA and CES beginning to hit store shelves in earnest, it's a whole new ballgame these days. Perpetual leader Canon holds onto four spots, but with only one of the four placings a new model, we're left to wonder how long they can hold on. Panasonic continues to show strong, with the new TZ5 taking top honors in a run-away (the new Lumix had more than three times as many views as the second-place SD870). Strong interest in Fuji's new S100fs ultrazoom was also a bit surprising; given the camera's reasonably high price, we had anticipated that they would price themselves into more a niche market, though the numbers here suggest otherwise. Ultimately, following several months of much of the same, March's major reshuffle comes a breath of fresh air.

This list of cameras shows you what visitors to DigitalCameraReview.com viewed most often over the past month. The rankings are determined by the number of times a particular product page is viewed by our users. The rankings below are for the entire month of March 2008.
