Most Popular Digital Cameras of February 2008

The Sony T200 returns for its fifth month atop our most popular cameras list, but with Panasonic's new TZ5 generating a lot of buzz after its release at PMA in early February, it looks like the T200's days as king of the hill are numbered. A replacement model, the Sony Cyber-shot T300, may also be responsible for waning interest in the perpetually popular T200. For the first time since October, Canon failed to hold at least half of the spots on the list, garnering only four rankings this month. With several new PowerShot models and a new Rebel DSLR steadily climbing the ranks – the recently released PowerShot A590 IS is already into the top twenty – it seems likely that Canon won't lose much more ground, though. A few budget models also moved up into the list this month, presumably on the strength of price cuts for these slightly older cameras in anticipation of newer tech hitting the market in March.

This list of cameras shows you what visitors to DigitalCameraReview.com viewed most often at over the past month. The rankings are determined by the number of times a particular product page is viewed by our users. The rankings below are for the entire month of February 2008.
