Fujifilm has announced four new digital cameras at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week. The Fujifilm Finepix V10 is a compact camera featuring Real Photo Technology and the ability to shoot up to ISO 1600. It will be available in March 2006 for $349. The entry level Finepix A400 and A500 feature the Super CCD in 4 and 5 megapixels, respectively. The A models will be available in February for $149 and $179 respectively. Finally, the Finepix F470 is their new entry in the new slim Point and Shoot cameras. Thinner than a deck of cards, the F470 will be available in March for $279.
FujiFilm Finepix V10
The V10's biggest features is the ability to shoot up to ISO 1600. If this camera performs as well as the F10 in taking low-light shots (with the increased sensitivity), Fujifilm is going to have another hit on their hands. The V10 also has a nice 3 inch LCD in it's ultra-compact body and it takes images at 5 megapixels. Also, this camera is their first camera in their 2006 lineup to include Real Photo Technology. A 3.4x optical zoom lens completes the package.

Fujifilm has also made a strong effort to allow users to see the LCD better in bright light with an automatic "gain up" to make the LCD brighter and reduce glare. Another "amplification layer" on the LCD brightens the display to prevent glare as well.
The most unique feature of this camera is the four games that Fujiflim has included with the camera. They're just good enough that they may be good for killing some time at the doctor's office (although I don't know why you'll need your camera at the doctor).

Fujifilm Finepix A400/A500
The new A series cameras, the A400 and A500, are being marketed to entry level digital camera users. The inclusion of the Super CCD and a new imaging processor ups the ante for that beginner user looking for a feature filled camera at an entry-level price. Both cameras have a 3x optical zoom. The A400 comes in at 4 megapixels, while the A500 shoots 5 megapixels.

Fujfilm Finepix F470
Thinner than a deck of cards, the Finepix F470 can slip in a shirt pocket or a small purse. The six megapixel camera also features a 2.5 inch LCD. The F470 will be available in March for an attractive $279.
